JAMMU, Sept 11: Police today arrested three gamblers along with Rs 2,100 stake money and play cards.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Narinder Singh conducted a raid in a brick kiln at Ratnal and arrested three smugglers namely Dharam Chand, son of Sardari Lal of Kheri, Milkhi Kumar, son of Harbans Lal of Ratnal and Tilak Kumar, son of Madan Lal of Ratnal.
“Stake money of Rs 2100 along with play cards has been recovered from the spot”, he added.
A case under 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and investigation started.
