Three persons wanted in attempt to murder, Arms Act case arrested

JAMMU, June 20: Satwari Police arrested three persons who were wanted in attempt to murder and Arms Act case.
As per police sources, on June 10 this year, a person namely Tarseem Lal, son of Krishan Lal of Hakkal produced a written application at Police Station Satwari stating that his son namely Anil Kumar and his nephew namely Ragu alias nonni, son of Romesh Chander of Hakkal were attacked with sharp edged weapons by some persons.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 105/2022 under Sections 307, 341 and 147 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Sameer Jiilani under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma was constituted.
The team did strenuous efforts and after connecting various leads and timely human intervention finally arrested three accused, who were identified as Abhishake Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar and Deepak Singh, son of Narinder Singh, both residents of Raipur Satwari and Govind Choudhoury alias Bindu, son of Ashok Kumar of RS Pura District Jammu.
During intensive questioning, all the three accused persons confessed their involvement in the case and weapons of offence were also recovered from them.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
