Pak again violates ceasefire

JAMMU, Sept 12: Pakistan today again violated ceasefire by resorting to heavy firing on the Indian positions on the Line of Control (LoC) in Balnoi sector of Poonch district.
Official sources said Pakistan Army started firing on the Indian positions at 3 am. The Indian side replied the firing.
The firing continued till 7.15 am, they added.
No casualties or damage was reported on the Indian side in the firing, sources said.
The ceasefire violations from Pakistan side has become a routine along the LoC in Poonch district since August 6 when five Indian soldiers were killed by the Pakistani troops in Sarla battalion area at Chakan-Da-Bagh in Poonch district.
Firing has been taking place almost regularly at Poonch, Sabjian, Balakote, Mendhar and other sectors.
