JAMMU, June 22: Acting tough against crime against women, Channi Himmat Police arrested a man for trying to click pictures of lady while taking bath and theft.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Station Channi Himmat stating that a man allegedly tried to click her pictures on his mobile when she was taking bath and also stole cash.
Acting over the complaint, a case under Sections 454, 380 and 354 IPC was registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and hunt was launched to nab the person.
A team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Deepak Katoch after checking the CCTV cameras footage of the area finally arrested the accused, who was identified as Hem Raj, son of Mani Ram, a resident of Channi Bija District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
