JAMMU, Sept 13: Kranti Dal (KD) appealed to all the political parties to support single shrine board for all the temples in J&K.
Addressing a press conference, Pritam Sharma, state general secretary, KD said that a bill was already introduced by the Government for constitution of board.
For the development of Jammu it is necessary that a single shrine board be constituted, he said, adding that it will boost the tourism also.
The members of the already existing boards should be local Snatani and permanent citizen of J&K, so that good facilities could be provided to the tourists.
It is the duty of the Government to frame laws to protect the funds and property of Dharmarth Trust, as the same were being mis-managed.
Among others present were Rajinder Bhagat, Anoop Singh, Neeraj Dhamin, Vijay Kumar, Sidharth Sharma, Amit Menia, Sankul Gupta, etc.
