JAMMU, June 27: Channi Himmat Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the abductor.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Channi Himmat regarding missing of a minor girl.
Acting over the complaint, a case under section 363 IPC has been registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Deepak Katoch conducted series of raids and finally rescued the girl and arrested the abductor, who was identified as Angrez Chand, son of Rattan Chand of Dani Rajbagh District Kathua.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
