Dogri Sanstha organizes story telling of late veteran writers

JAMMU, June 26 Dogri Sanstha Jammu organized online story telling of late veteran short story writers Padmashri Padma Sachdeva and Shakunt Deepmala.
Padma Sachdeva is well known for promoting mother tongue Dogri with her colossal contributions to Dogri literature and has been awarded with Sahitya Academy award for her first ever collection of poetry ‘Meri Kavita Mere Geet’.
In the program, Assistant Professor Dogri Rituraj Sharma read her short story ‘Bu Tu Razi Aein’, which is classified among the all-time critically acclaimed short stories in Dogri language.
Dr Sheetal Sharma, Assistant Professor Dogri read another fine short writer Shakunt Deepmala’ s well acclaimed short story ‘Prerna’ from her only Dogri collection of short stories ‘Sukhan’ that had bagged her Prof Ram Nath Shastri Memorial award in 2016.
The program was presided over by Prof Lalit Magotra, prolific Hindi and Dogri writer and President Dogri Sanstha Jammu. The program was watched by thousands throughout India and abroad through Facebook page of Dogri Sanstha Jammu.
