AND THE CROW SMILED…..

One day I was reading newspaper sitting
in my lawn, a crow came, hovered over the lawn and was gone,
After few minutes he came again, did same and sat at a higher place away from me,
Looked at me, scorned as if saying is this the way a human being should be,
kept staring at me for few seconds and was gone,
I waited for him to comeback but was gone,
It was a hot burning day and I wondered what crow wanted to say,
Perhaps crow was thirsty and had come looking for water this way,
And I looked around, there was no water in my lawn,
Now I knew why the crow had looked at me that way before he was gone
Immediately, I rushed to market and two earthen pot I brought,
Filled them with water and to keep at the place where crow sat, best I thought,
Next morning when I was taking walk in lawn came the crow,
Hovered over me and went to water pot, the crow,
He quietly had his fill and looked at me,
Looked at me, smiled and was saying this is how life should be,
What you have got, all God has given to you,
So many had contributed before it came to you,
True joy is not in having it,
The pleasure lies in sharing every bit,
What you give God gives you more in one way or the other,
You must not sit over it but share further,
With a smile the crow was gone,
And to fill those pots with water and to see the smiling crow I wait for every dawn.

WiThout You !!!

What I live, without you,
What I die, without you!
The world is full of love,
Love at all; But
Who loves me truly;without you!!!
Trying my existence in the world,
Running against this herd; But
Who hold my hand forever;without you!!!
People love to stay with money,
I’ve nothing, single penny; But
Who will stay with me, without you !!!
The world is full of happiness,
happiness at all; But
Who become my smile; without you!!!
My life starts with you,
My life ends with you; But
Now
What I live without you,
What I die without you!!!

God Help Those Who Help Themselves

I asked God to take away my pride,
God said, ‘No,’ it is not for me to take away, but for u to give it up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole
God said, ‘No’, Her spirit was whole, her body, body was only temporary
I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, ‘No’, suffering draws you apart from wordly cares and brings you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, ‘No’, you must grow on your own, but I will prone you to make you fruitful
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, ‘No’, I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things
I asked God to help me love others,
as much as he loves me
God said, ‘Ahh…………………finally you have the idea!

A JEWEL I LOST

Closed my eyes and had a thought,
O God what just I lost!
My heart skipped a beat,
Whenever I saw you in the street,
Barren is that mind which lushed with thoughts,
Amazed I am, how I lost you at the rate of knots
Can’t you see I am screaming,
Killing me from inside its paining,
Sure I am, that outside its raining,
Uttering the name I cry,
Hey atleast give me another try,
A hope still resides,
Someday I will find you besides,
I will go and check that coast,
From where a jewel I lost
