The rapid increase in man-animal conflict incidents is a cause of concern. This year a good number of such cases were reported from different parts of the State especially that fall near forests.Many people lost their lives and some got brutally injured in these attack. Even some animals also had to lose their lives. Anyway, it was a colossal loss on both sides.
In view of the severity of the issue, the forest officials, wildlife department are requested to take this issue seriously by taking some preventive measures in this regard. Besides compensation should be extended to those who have lost their kith and kin in these encounters.
