UDHAMPUR, June 28: Former ABVP president and BJP youth leader Akash Verma along with his number of supporters today joined the National Conference in the presence of NC District President Sunil Verma.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Verma said that BJP has nothing in offing except rhetoric because the schemes and policies which its leadership is boasting of are merely eyewash as on ground the party has failed on all fronts whether it is containing inflation, tackling unemployment or even the development.
Verma said only National Conference can address the problems and issues of the people of J&K. He asked the new entrants to work for strengthening the hands of Omar Abdullah so that the party can act as real saviour for the population.
Those who joined along with ABVP President, included Romesh Singh, Raghubir Singh, Deepak Anthal, Raghav Raina, Rajat Chanotra, Rohit Karlopia, Arun Thakur, Surinder Singh, Ashish Verma, Aryan Thappa, Ajay Bhagat, Dhruv Sharma, Shubham Rajput, Rohit Karyal and others.
