NC leader takes stock of public problems

BANIHAL, June 29: NC district president Ramban, Mir Sajjad Shaheen accompanied by District Development Counsellor Khari, Gulshan Parveen and others here today visited village Kawna, Bawa, Arimarg and Bajnari in Khari Tehsil and took stock of the problems being faced by the people there.
Shaheen met people in these villages who apprised him about scarcity of drinking water and erratic power supply.
The NC leader said that road connectivity to Khari-Mahu and Banihal-Mangit roads is in bad shape which has added to the miseries of the people.
He referred to frequent blockade of Nachlana-Khari-Mahu road due to sinking of a major portion of the road at Hirnihal in Khari Tehsil and said that no serious effort is being made to repair the road.
Shaheen expressed concern over delay in getting forest clearance to several roads in Khari particularly Bawa to Mangit road, Agnari to Tragan road, Kawna to Buzla road and urged upon the Forest and R&B Department to expedite the process of forest clearance so that work could be taken up for construction of the roads.
He has also demanded road connectivity to Bajnari, Walao, Trajibal, Moori, Dupdalaw, Acchan, Rattan, Kasparan Bajnari and Nawan roads.
The NC leader said that improvement in Health infrastructure in remote areas should be done and demanded PHCs in Mahoo, Mangit, Buzla, Kumbla, Khari and other remote areas.
