POONCH, June 30: District Magistrate has ordered detention of a man under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
As per police sources, in the interest for the security of the Union Territory and maintenance of the public order, a man identified as Mohammad Hanief, son of Raj Mohd of Lower Gunthal Ward Number 2, Tehsil Surankote, District Poonch has been detained under Public Safety Act (PSA).
He has been detained under PSA on the orders of DM Poonch in order to prevent him from acting in any manner prejudicial to the security of the UT.
He is a hardcore, notorious and anti-national person who remained involved in many terror and anti-India activities. He was continuously indulging in criminal activities and had created a state of terror amongst the peace loving people of the area and has not mended his behavior and activities.
He is in regular contact with Pak based terrorist and handlers through social media platform and his activities are prejudicial & determental to the security of the UT.
He has been detained under J&K PSA and lodged in District Jail Poonch.
