JAMMU, July 1: Miran Sahib Police arrested a notorious criminal and recovered sharp edged weapon from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh laid a naka at Marallian Morh and intercepted an Alto car bearing registration number JK02AK-2478.
During checking, police team recovered one sharp edged weapon from the car and arrested the accused, who was identified as Balvinder Singh, son of Swarn Singh of Ranjari Tehsil Vijaypur District Samba.
During initial questioning, he confessed that he was on his way to take revenge from his old enemy.
A case FIR Number 65/2022 under section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
