UDHAMPUR, July 1: In an impressive function organized here today, five doctors of District Hospital Udhampur including president of Doctors’ Association Jammu (DAJ) Dr Balvinder Singh was honoured by a prominent social activist of the district, Swarn Singh Rathore.
While Dr Balvinder Singh was honoured for doing record knee replacements, hip replacements and arthoscopic surgeries in DH Udhampur, Dr Vinod was honoured for exceptional work in gastroenterology, Dr Deepak Koul for his exceptional service to the community and Dr Manisha Langher for untiring and exceptional service as radiologist.
Speaking on the occasion, all the awardees assured people present on the occasion that they will continue to do 24×7 for welfare of patients and will try to give 5-star medical treatment to their patients even in Government run health institutions.
Meanwhile, DAJ president Dr Balvinder Singh appointed Advocate Sushil Chandel as legal advisor of the DAJ.
