Cong to continue fighting anti-people policies of BJP

SRINAGAR,July 2: JKPCC president GA Mir today said that Congress will continue to fight anti- people policies of Centre, State Govt, besides defeating the challenges faced on various fronts especially vendetta and misleading politics of BJP.
“Party is supreme, every worker is bound to further strengthen it at grassroot and serve people as that Congress has the legacy of serving and strengthening people,” PCC president made these comments while addressing a largely attended party workers meeting at Verinag in South Kashmir on Saturday.
Mir said Congress Party won’t be cowed down by the vendetta politics of BJP, rather it will get further strengthened and urged the Party workers to gear-up for the upcoming challenges.
Referring to the current situation in J&K Mir said people have realized that they are being forced to face worst unnecessarily on account of rising unemployment, inflation and various other developmental issues resulting in they are feeling disappointed given the failures of Centre & State Govt, on all fronts.
Mir said BJP Govt is making all out efforts to target and weaken Congress to hide its failures, but their attempts are being thwarted in strongest terms. He said Congress Party enjoys trust and confidence of the people given its pro- people polices, it will continue to fight against the undemocratic and anti-people measures of the BJP Govt.
Govt is shying away from democratic process, doesn’t allow elections to happen in J&K because it has realized that people are fed up and feeling disappointed with BJP’s anti people policies, Mir added.
JKPCC president also slammed tall claims of Centre & State Govt with regard to peace and development post August 5, 2019 decision whilst nothing is visible on the ground, which is the reason behind delaying the democratic process in J&K with the result people are worst hit in absence of the popular Govt.
Mir said the Bureaucratic rule has never been alternative to democratically elected Govt, unfortunately Centre Govt inorder to cover its failures is scuttling the democratic process in J&K.
