KATHUA, July 4: Basohli Police arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Basohli led by SHO Inspector Rajinder Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO Billawar Shazia Akhter and SSP Kathua RC Kotwal conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2015.
The accused was identified as Balbir Singh, son of Suresh Kumar, a resident of Hutt Prerta Tehsil Basohli.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 12/2015 under sections 341, 147 and 504 RPC with Police Station Basohli.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
