Dogra Group announces free education to students who lost parents to Covid-19

JAMMU, July 5: Dogra Group of Institutions will provide free education to the students who have lost their parents to Covid-19 pandemic.
Former Minister and Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust & Dogra Academy Society, Gulchain Singh Charak, said hundreds of school and college going students have lost their parents (sole bread earner) to Covid-19 pandemic and now are unable to afford educational expenses. He said, therefore, Dogra Educational Trust & Dogra Academy Society have decided to provide free education to such students so that they are not deprived of the educational opportunities.
Charak made the announcement during a function at Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu, where he was invited as chief guest. Managing Director Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Principal of the Institution Devinder Kour and senior faculty members were present on the occasion.
The function was attended by a gathering comprising of parents of the students, eminent educationists and prominent citizens of the area.
