SAMBA July 6: Samba Police has achieved a breakthrough in a theft case registered at Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana with the arrest of a bike lifter and recovered three stolen bikes from his hideout .
During the investigation of a case FIR No. 127/2022 U/S 379 IPC of P/S Bari Brahmana, the team of PS Bari Barhmana headed of Inspector, Rakesh Sharma assisted by PSI Anjum Hussain Shah under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana, Shivali Kotwal has arrested one suspect namely Anil Singh son of Balwinder Singh of Moghlan , tehsil Taryhat district Rajouri.
During sustained interrogation, the accused confessed that he had stolen one motorcycle bearing registration no.JK02BP / 9882 and two scooties bearing Registration No.JK21B / 8756 & JK02CH / 7349. On his disclosure, Bari Brahmana Police has recovered all the three vehicles. Further investigation is going on.
The whole operation was carried out under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Dr.Abishek Mahajan.
