JAMMU, July 6: The SI aspirants of Jammu and Kashmir Police held protest against proposed scrapping of the selection list.
A large number of SI aspirants assembled outside Press Club here and held protest. They raised slogans in favour of their demand.
While talking to media persons, the protestors said that scrapping of the selection list will be injustice with the meritorious students.
“If there is a scam in the recruiting process then it should be probed till end otherwise who had taken benefits illegally can repeat the same”, the protestors added.
“An enquiry committee was constituted after the aspirants of JKP SI held protest in different areas alleging scam in the recruitment. The enquiry committee should probe the scam thoroughly”, the aspirants said.
“Scrapping and re-examination is not a viable solution as this will demoralise the aspirants”, the protestors added.
