RAJOURI, July 6: A youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging in Thannamandi area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that a youth namely- Gulfaraz Ahmed (24), son of Lal Hussain, resident of Namabal Kaliyan, in Tehsil Thannamandi, committed suicide by hanging himself in his room at his residence.
Police party from Thannamandi led by SHO, Shoket Hussain reached the spot after receiving information. The police took the body into its custody and shifted it to GMC Rajouri for post-mortem and performing other legal formalities. Later, it was handed over to the family for last rites. A case has been registered by police in this connection.
