NEW DELHI, Sept 16: The Supreme Court today pulled up the Jammu and Kashmir government for awarding varying amounts of compensation to the families of those killed in Kishtwar violence.
It said all lives are equal and the government must award equal compensation to the families of those killed and injured.
The state government had filed an affidavit in the apex court, giving details of the compensation awarded to the riot victims and the measures for their rehabilitation. (AGENCIES)
