JAMMU, July 8: Additional Sessions Judge Udhampur SC Katal today awarded 15 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs 1.5 lakh to Harvinder Singh from whom about 4 kilograms of heroin and 2 kilograms of poppy straw was recovered.
After hearing APP Himanshu Parkash with Inspector Paramjit Singh, then SHO Chenani and then SDPO Chanderjeet Singh, the court convicted the accused and awarded 15 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs 150000.
