REASI, July 9: Police apprehended an absconding thief who was evading arrest for the last four years.
The arrested accused, identified as Mohd Shakeel, son of Bagh Hussain of Keri, Tehsil Khawas, was involved in case FIR number 48/2018, under section 379 RPC of Police Station Pouni.
A general arrest warrant under section 512, CrPC was issued against him since 2018. He was arrested by Sub-Inspector Showket, Incharge PP Khawas and shall be produced in the court of JMIC Reasi.
