POONCH, July 16: A middle aged man ended his life by setting himself ablaze under mysterious circumstances at his house, here today.
The deceased was identified as Rajinder Kumar (52), son of Nand Lal, resident of Mohalla Power House, Poonch. He set himself on fire at his home. Family members shifted him to District Hospital Poonch where doctor declared him as brought dead.
The deceased was serving in ITBP and had been on leave at home. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be immediately ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
