JAMMU, Sept 18: 29 years old Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association has become the first Government recognised body in the University of Jammu.
Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president RL Kaith, who while speaking, informed that as per a communication received from the Directorate of Industries and Commerce their Association stands registered with the office of the Registrar of Societies.
Kaith appealed the Vice-Chancellor Prof MPS Ishar to provide the accommodation for office and all other infrastructural facilities to the association in the University.
Among others present were Om Parkash, Sukhdev Bhagat, BR Angral, Surjeet Singh Heer, Mulkh Raj, Milkhi Ram Malhotra, Kunj Lal, Mohd Sadiq, Sukhdev Raj, Sunita Kumari and Manoj Kumar.
