POONCH, July 17: A youth was critically injured when his motorcycle met with an accident near Mandi in Poonch district today.
Official sources said that a motor cycle bearing registration number, JK12- 6153 fell down into deep gorge in which rider was critically injured. He was initially taken to Sub District Hospital, Mandi and later shifted to District Hospital, Poonch as he had sustained serious head injury.
The injured was identified as Bilal Ahmed (28), son of Mohd Ashraf, a resident of Chamber village in Mandi, Poonch.
Station House Officer Mandi, Inspector Mukhtiar Ali said that a case under FIR number 99/ 2022, has been registered in Police Station Mandi. The injured was later, referred to SKIMS, Soura in Srinagar, a senior doctor at District Hospital Poonch said.
