SRINAGAR, Sept 18: The National Conference today hit out at People’s Democratic Party (PDP) saying the opposition party leadership was galvanizing its politics by “deception and falsehood”.
“They (PDP) forgot all issues when in power while we strived for political addressing of political issues and pushing forward development on fast track and addressing the concerns of the youth,” Tanvir Sadiq, Political Secretary to Omar Abdullah told a youth delegation comprising of students and young businessmen who called on him Wednesday.
“Everyone is aware that “terror” and “Jungle Raj” was prevailing at all levels during the PDP Government’s rule. There was Jungle Raj at every level and the situation during the three-year-old period was very bad. The goons of PDP were running the show,” alleged Tanvir
“It is easy to raise slogans like healing touch but to act practically in this direction is something different which is unknown to PDP leadership who only knows to flare up sentiments and exploit people by deception and false promises,” he said and added that by staging dramas in Lal Chowk and getting media coverage, the PDP president was just trying to make herself relevant in newspapers.
Referring to the quick replacement of CRPF contingent from Shopian recently, Mr Tanvir Sadiq claimed that it was Omar Abdullah’s Government, which was working on the doctrine of actions to provide relief to people and address political and development matters with commitment without making any noise.
The NC leader asked the youth to defeat polices and anti- people agenda of PDP by defeating them in the next year’s election.
