JAMMU, July 20: Reconstituting the body, Government today appointed members of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Haj Committee for a period of three years.
The newly appointed Members of the Haj Committee are; Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi, Member of Parliament; Safeena Baig, DDC Chairperson Baramulla; Mohd Rafiq Chashti, son of Noor Din Chasti of village Noonabandi, Tehsil Haveli, district Poonch; Molvi, Mohd Ashraf, son of Mohd Jamal, resident of Gori, district Anantnag; Talib Hussain Choudhary, Ex MP, resident of Rajouri and Syed Mohd Rafiq, son of Haji Sayed Hussain, resident of Wakura, Ganderbal, presently putting up at All Bazar, Srinagar.
Dr Abdul Salam Executive Officer Haj Committee shall be Ex-officio Member and his term shall be till the officer is holding charge of Executive Officer, J&K UT Haj Committee.
