JAMMU, July 21: Income Tax Gazetted Officers Association organised a blood donation camp at Aayakar Bhawan, here today.
The camp was organised under the guidance of Mona Singh, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax Jammu in collaboration with Income Tax Employees Federation. This is for the first time in the history of the department that the mega blood donation camps were organised simultaneously at 42 offices of the Income Tax Department located in the North-West Region.
The camp was organised in collaboration with the Jammu Blood Donors and Welfare Society and Bee Enn Hospital Jammu, which was inaugurated by Principal Commission, Mona Singh who herself donated blood for the first time in the camp along with other officers and staff of the department concerned.
The necessary arrangements were made by the office bearers of ITGOA, Jammu Unit headed by Amit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, president Parveen Khajuria, Income Tax Officer, Zonal secretary, Ajay Rana and others.
The event was held under the supervision of Rakesh Kumar, Commissioner of Income Tax and Satvir Singh, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Jammu.
