JAMMU, July 21: A teenager was killed while another seriously injured in accident at Domel here.
As per police sources, two youth identified as Udhay Chouhan (18), son of Som Nath and Deepak Singh, son of Ram Singh, both residents of Ward Number 5 Shiv Mohalla Hakal Chatha District Jammu were critically injured in collision between a scooty and tempo at Domel late last night.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where Udhay Chouhan failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries, while condition of Deepak Singh was stated to be critical, when last reports came in.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
