JAMMU, Sept 19: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Kartar Singh has acquitted alleged militants namely Ghulam Ahmed Mir, son of Abdul Aziz and Riaz Ahmad Khan, son of Mohd Hafiz Khan, both residents of Thanamandi, who were arrested by police on September 2, 2004 from Rajouri.
After hearing Advocate Rupak Ratta appearing for the accused persons, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “the conclusion is irresistible that there is not even an iota of incriminating evidence against the accused. They are, therefore, acquitted of the charge framed against them”.
