RAJOURI, Sept 19: A full grown bear attacked a villager and left him seriously injured at his ‘dhok’ in the higher reaches of Budhal today.
The incident took place during morning at Falwari Dhok in mountainous Budhal area. The bear suddenly attacked middle aged Abdul Rashid and left him seriously injured. He was, however, rescued by the other members of the family who came out with lathis and hurled stones on the wild beast. The injured was later admitted to Kotranka hospital. His face, neck and arms were badly injured by the bear.
