Srinagar, Sept 19: Inspector General of Police, Railways Dr. Kamal Saini today inaugurated GRP Station Banihal.
SDPO GRP Anantnag, SDPO Banihal, officers of RPF & Railway authorities were present during inaugural function at Railway Station Banihal.
After inauguration, the IGP Railways was briefed about the present pattern of GRP/RPF deployment of Railway Station/track. Necessary briefing was given to all the officers regarding present security scenario.They were also briefed to take extra precautions against evil designs of anti-national and anti- social elements.
The IGP emphasized upon the officers to ensure close co-ordination among each other for ensuring safety of passengers and railway property.
