JAMMU, July 23: A deputation of Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) under the chairmanship of Shakti Gupta met the Chief Engineer (CE) JPDCL in his office and raised the problems pertaining to the employees of JPDCL, here today.
During the meeting, they demanded DPC of Tech-III be held at the earliest because it has been pending for the year 1998, regularisation of need based employees, while services of daily wagers have been regularised and their posts be replaced by the need based employees and also urged the Chief Engineer to keep the need based employees under the head daily wage basis.
After hearing the grievances of the employees, the CE assured that all the demands will be addressed shortly.
Manjit Singh, Anay Gupta, Sat Paul, Raman Sharma and Vijay Dogra were part of the deputation.
