2 kidnapped minor girls reunited with their families

JAMMU, July 23: Jammu Police has reunited two kidnapped minor girls with their families.
On a complaint regarding missing of his minor daughter by a person, Police Station Janipur registered a case under FIR number 78/2022 U/S 363 IPC and investigation started.
After connecting various leads and after analysis of CDR Tower location, a team of Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Ajaz Haider finally recovered the girl from the possession of one accused namely Lakshay Kumar son of Rakesh Kumar, resident of New Plot (Jammu) from Bus Stand area of Jammu.
Similarly, another complaint was lodged at Police Station Domana by father of a minor girl who went to school on 22-02-2022 and didn’t come back home. After registration of the case under FIR number 72/2022 u/s 363 IPC, Domana police initiated investigation.
The team led by SHO Domana Inspector Tilak Raj did strenuous efforts and with the help of various CCTV footages of the area and various other links finally recovered the girl from Kotli Arjun Singh Pura, RS Pura (Jammu) from the possession of accused namely Sumit Kumar son of Sat Paul, resident of Kotli Arjun Singh Pura.
Both the girls were finally reunited with their family members and further investigations of the cases were going on.
