KATHUA, July 24: In continuation to take tough action against illegal mining within the district, Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, RC Kotwal today seized one JCB Machine along with one Tractor Trolley involved in illegal extraction and transportation of construction material within the district.
Police said a team headed by incharge Police Post (PP) Chadwal under the supervision of SDPO Border, Pankaj Soodan today seized once JCB Machine involved in illegal extraction of construction material in the jurisdictional area of PS Rajbagh near Chadwal.
In another case police team of PP Nagri headed by IC PP Nagri under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kathua, Shammi Kumar today seized one Tractor trolley involved in illegal transportation of construction material. Meanwhile the JCB Machine along with one tractor trolley involved in illegal mining were seized and immediately handed over to the officials of Geological and Mining Department Kathua for further legal proceedings.
