SUNDERBANI, Sept 20: The Sub-District Magistrate (SDM), Nowshera, Deepti Uppal, accompanied by various Tehsil level officers including BDO, Tehsildar, AEE R&B and PHE besides officers from Irrigation and Flood Control, CDPO and TSO, conducted various public meetings at Nah, Kangri and Bajabain areas of Block Sunderbani and took stock of the grievances of the people.
During the meetings, the people raised various issues regarding deficient supply of water, staff shortage in Government institutions and lack of developmental activities in the area. The SDM gave a patient hearing to the general public and issued on spot instructions to the sectoral officers for redressal of general public grievances.
She also instructed the officials for playing important role in developmental works and implementation of new schemes at grass root level.
