SRINAGAR, Sept 20: Two persons died of fall while harvesting walnuts in Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said a man, Mohammad Altaf Dar, 27, son of Khalil Dar of Kanganhal, Achabal, fell from a walnut tree at Kangalhal. He succumbed to his injuries on way to a hospital.
In a similar incident, Mushtaq Ahmad Beigh of Seer Hamdan fell from a walnut tree while harvesting walnuts in Mattan area of Anantnag district. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
