JAMMU, July 29: Indian Red Cross Society Jammu Region distributed relief material to poor and needy people of slum areas of Maratha Colony Trikuta Nagar through Sangharsh Vidya Kendra.
The main objective of the camp was to provide relief in order to feed the under privileged population and provide access to basic facilities to a large number of people especially woman and children.
Sat Pal Sharma Secretary Indian Red Cross Society Jammu Region said that the thought behind this distribution was to reach out the beneficiaries, who live in pitiful and pathetic condition and facing different crisis in the life should be able to access these facilities and acquire whatever little solace they can.
The relief was distributed personally by Sat Pal Sharma with proper planning and execution to the needy and distress people where he personally made sure that all the genuine beneficiaries should be identified and those who are in actual need of help shall be provided the relief material.
The camp was coordinated by Kanchan Sharma, Founder Sangharsh Vidya Kendra.
