NEW DELHI, Sept 21: Lobia prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale pulses market today on the lack of demand against adequate stocks position.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said lack of demand against adequate stocks position mainly led to the decline in lobia prices.
In the national capital, lobia moved down by Rs 100 to Rs 4,000-5,100 per quintal.
The following were today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,400-3,800, Urad Chilka (local) 4,500-4,800, best 4,900-5,400, Dhoya 5,400-5,600, Moong 5,200-5,600, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,700-6,100, Moong Dhoya local 5,900-6,000, and best quality 6,550-6,650.
Masoor small 4,000-4,200, bold 4,150-4,250, Dal Masoor local 4,700-4,800, best quality 4,750-4,850, Malka local 4,800-4,900, best 5,000-5,100, Moth 3,200-3,800, Arhar 3,750-4,150, Dal Arhar Dara 5,450-5,650.
Gram 3,100-3,800, Gram Dal (local) 3,450-3,650, best quality 3,550-3,650, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,510, Rajdhani 1,510, Rajmah Chitra 8,500-10,300, Kabli Gram small 3,700-5,700, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 4,000-5,100, Peas white 2,900-2,950 and green 3,000-3,150. (PTI)
