JAMMU, July 31: Rafeeq Ahmad, Deputy Director (Adm), Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, has been appointed as Inquiry Officer into alleged misuse of official position with regard to issuance of notification for declaration of the President, Municipal Committee, Magam, in violation of J&K Municipal Act 2000.
He shall conduct an in-depth inquiry against Syed Ajaz Manzoor, Incharge Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Magam for misuse of his official position in issuance of the notification without seeking approval of the Government.
An order in this regard has been issued by the Housing & Urban Development Department, according to which the Inquiry Officer shall submit his report within a period of 15 days.
