JAMMU, July 31: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said that BJP Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has ended decades’ long discriminatory rule of successive Governments in J&K by ensuring abrogation of Article 370 and exposing the true face of political parties surviving in J&K by running their divisive agendas.
Kavinder said this while interacting with residents of Bathindi locality after listening to PM’s Mann Ki Baat here on Sunday. Aashish Sood Seh Parbhari BJP J&K, Vinay Gupta district president; Ankush Gupta general secretary; Raj Kumar Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee JMC, Dr Tahir, Mohd Alam, Noor Alam, Mohd Shareef and Liaqat Ali were present on the occasion.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were facing discrimination on each and every issue under the regimes of Kashmir-based parties which believed in holding hegemony over other regions but the PM Modi believing on the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas” toed a line under which people enjoyed all the schemes and policies of the Government as equal partners with no fear of partially or prejudice.
He however expressed surprise that despite VVIPs having their residences in the locality including the NC leader, Farooq Abdullah, there is dearth of facilities as people are still confronting to have basic edifice.
Kavinder said that only BJP has the guts to tackle violence in the strife-torn J&K and rekindle hope to enthuse the spirit of nationalism in each and every resident of the region through its public welfare initiatives and opportunities for one and all. He sought support of the people in the coming elections and assured that the upcoming BJP Government will provide each and every amenity to the people.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP SC Morcha district president Jammu, Mohammad Rafiq affirmed that on August 15, National Flag will be hoisted in front of Mecca Masjid in the locality and thereafter every household will unfurl the Tricolour in Bathindi area to show solidarity and love towards India under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
