JAMMU, Sept 21: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is the only political party in Jammu and Kashmir, which carries the legacy of good governance in very short span of its Government.
This was stated by PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat and MLC Yash Pal Sharma today while addressing a function at Langar area, Kunjwani organized by PDP State secretary Choudhary Hussain Ali Waffa.
He added that, in very short period, PDP won hearts and minds of people of Jammu and Kashmir, adding that good governance, justice and equality become trade mark of PDP Government under the leadership of Mufti Sahab.
Sharma said that the biggest achievement of PDP is that people of Jammu and Kashmir have accepted this party as alternative of National Conference.
He also alleged that, present collation regime led by Omar Abdullah has become a non performing liability on the people of the State, adding that corruption, nepotism, mismanagements etc are the few gifts of this Government for the people.
Seeking support of the people for setting up a new system, he said that establishing corruption and improving quality and efficiency of the governance in Jammu and Kashmir is priority of PDP.
He also added that if he voted to power, settlement of refugees and empowerment of Gujjar and Bakerwal of the State will be on the priority of my work. He also said that party under the leadership of Mufti M Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti is committed to work for the people and continue to raise people’s issues at every possible forum.
Prominent who present on the occasion were, Tirlok Singh Bajwa, vice president, Thakur Balbir Singh general secretary, Rashid Malik and Surinder choudary, state secretaries, Mir Choudary, Ved Mahajan, Capt Anil Gour and other senior leaders of the party.
