JAMMU, Aug 3: Kanachack Police arrested a man along with 210 bundles of banned Chinese thread.
As per police sources, on specific information regarding sale of banned synthetic threads a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal conducted raid at a shop near Hari Singh Gharat and apprehended a man along with 210 bundles of banned Chinese thread.
The arrested person was identified as Rajinder Singh, son of Des Raj of Shama Chak District Jammu.
The arrest was made in violation of DM order regarding ban on sale of plastic/synthetic threads (manja).
A case under FIR No 90/2022 under relevant section has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
