KATHUA, Sept 22: J&K United School Teachers Association (USTA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its provincial president Hari Singh.
While speaking, Singh appealed the Government to regularize all ReT teachers, repatriation and transfer of masters and lecturers, who have completed their tenure, modify unsuitably adjusted lecturers, early disposal of permission cases, step up and withdrawl of GP fund cases, selection grade in favour of trained under graduate teachers, filling up of vacant posts of teachers and bebar teachers from non academic duties.
USTA also extended support to the strike of safai karamcharis and appealed the Government to release their pending salaries at earliest.
Among others present were Sewa Ram, Dr Shashi Paul Singh, Kishori Lal, Sukhdev Singh, Suresh Kumar, Subnandan Sharma, etc.
