RAMNAGAR, Sept 22: Pradesh Youth Congress general secretary R S Pathania conducted an extensive tour of far-flung areas of Ramnagar Dhar and took stock of day-to-day problems confronting people at Saloh, Plassan, Thandapani, Targain, Rang, Dhanu, Dhanwalt, Salote Thelay villages.
During his interaction with people, the latter highlighted the grievances related to lack of drinking water, electricity supply, adequate health facilities, road connectivity etc.
While training all guns against political leadership and local administration for letting loose a worst reign in the area which entails least touch of development, Government control and basic facilities in the area, Pathania asked people to teach a lesson to the local representative in the next Assembly elections.
People demanded upgradation of High School at Rang upto Higher Secondary level and Middle Schools at Thelay, Pinger, Blandh and Farol. They sought provision of adequate staff and teaching infrastructure in schools of the area as well as proper operationalisation of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhalaya at Dhanu.
Locals demanded X-ray and other sophisticated facilities at PHC Rang, dispensaries at Blandh, Thelay and Dhanu, transformers at Thelay, Thandapani, Udduk and Blandh.
As people drew attention towards sub-standard work on Plassan-Rang road, Pathania sought criminal action against the contractor.
