Shamima inaugurates 47 mtr long footbridge

SRINAGAR, Sept 22: Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Women’s Commission and Member Legislative Assembly Shamima Firdous inaugurated 47 metre long Syed Ali Akbar footbridge constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore in her Assembly constituency here today.
Member Legislative Asse-mbly Zadibal Peer Afaaq Ahmad was present on the occasion.
Addressing a public gathering, Mr Shamima said that the present Government is committed to solve genuine problems of the people in a phased manner. She said that the pace of development in Habbakadal constituency has been speeded up and several roads, community hall, recreation park and schools have been constructed and opened for the people.
MLA Zadibal Peer Afaaq Ahmad on this occasion said that a massive programme of development has been taken up in the state under the guidance of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. He said that special attention is being given to the development of Srinagar city and several projects are under execution to provide various facilities to the people.
