JAMMU, Sept 22: Two youth hailing from district Doda were drowned in Tawi river in Nagrota area of the city outskirts this afternoon.
As per reports, Pawan Singh son of Jai Singh and Sarved Singh, son of Chuni Lal, both residents of Dessa, district Doda were taking bath in river Tawi near Katalbatal area in Nagrota, when they drowned.
On getting information, police party led by DySP Khalik Choudhary and SHO Parvez Sajjad rushed to the spot and divers were pressed into service to recover the bodies.
However, the bodies were not fished out till late night.
