NZCC, JKAACL organise musical programme

KATHUA, Aug 6: North Zone Culture Centre, Patiala in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organised a musical programme in connection with Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign as the part of Azaadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav at Kartar Public School, Barnoti, followed by the village ‘Mehtabgarh’. In Mehtabgarh the tribes gave a salutation to tricolour amidst chanting of the National Anthem.
Glorifying the strength of performing arts of Jammu region Chairman Kartar Public School Nirmaljit Singh Amn said that they are trying to do our best of efforts for the preservation and promotion of the Art and Culture of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion at Kartar Public School, Barnoti, Principal Harpreet Kour stated that they always support the initiative of culture as they want to let our ward to understand the meaning of culture. She further requested JKAACL to come up with such kind of initiatives so that the students get some experience and exposure to art and culture.
The programme started with a vibrant singing by the students of Kartar Public School followed by the scintillating performance by Dilsher and Party and Bunty Kumar and Party. The major attraction of the programme was the Nukkad performance by Riyaz Ahmed & Party who made everyone spellbound with their acting skills.

The programme was witnessed by the Sarpanches, Panchs and local citizens of Kathua district.
