SAMBA, Aug 11: In its drive against the absconders and criminals launched by District Police Samba under the overall supervision of SSP, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, today two absconders were arrested by police wanted in different cases registered at Police Station (PS) Ramgarh during the year 2020.
Police said a team of PS Ramgarh, headed by SHO PS Ramgarh, Inspector, Asha Nand under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Priyanka Kumari apprehended two absconders namely, Azad Ahmed, son of Sain Mohd of Kainthpur Thandi Khui, Vijaypur wanted in case FIR No. 16/2020 U/S 457/380 IPC and in case FIR No.18/2020 U/S 457/380 IPC registered at PS Ramgarh and Harpreet Singh alias Babbu, son of Sukhdev Singh of Jerda Ramgarh in case FIR No. 78/2020 U/S 307/341/323/325/ 427/147 IPC registered at PS Ramgarh.
Both the accused persons were evading their arrest for a long time. The absconders will be produced in the court of law.
